What Our Clients Say - Testimonials

How to Get Someone Out of Jail

During business hours:

When you call our main number (512) 381-9955, inform our receptionist, Rose Sedillos,  that you are calling to get someone out of jail.

This helps our office prioritize your call as an emergency and handle the case as quickly as possible.

After hours:

If you are calling because it's an emergency and somebody was just arrested and you want to hire us to get them out, we will happily wake up to help you.

If you are calling to find out the cost and you're not really sure you want to get them out and the person was arrested 3 days ago and you're calling at 3:00 a.m. because you're lonely and want somebody to talk to, we're probably going to be a bit more grumpy and ask that you call back during business hours.

Like doctors that rotate their on-call duty, the lawyers in our Firm also share the responsibility to help potential clients in an emergency.  We believe that helping a person when they have the most questions (after just getting arrested) and the least access to answers (while they're in jail) provides the best peace of mind for our clients and their families.

When you call our after hours emergency number (512) 600-6151, your call will be answered and you will be placed briefly on hold while the answering service calls the attorney at home. If the attorney on call does not answer (we're sound sleepers, sorry) you may have a slight wait while the answering service calls another lawyer in the office.

We are not a huge corporation, so please anticipate slight variances in the process. Those of us with small kids typically let the answering service leave a voicemail, then we have to find a soundproof place in the house to call you back without waking the entire family.  For the attorneys who may be awake at the hour you are calling, the answering service will patch you directly through the attorney.
